Educated in France, I fell in love with Classics at school. I studied History, with minors in Latin and Greek at undergraduate level before gaining an MA in History of Art, specialising in Italian Renaissance prints, from the Sorbonne. I worked for several years in the Art market, first at Christie's, then at antiquities dealership Charles Ede, before side-stepping into teaching in 2015. I was ran the Latin department at Ryde School on the Isle of Wight until 2018, and currently I teach History at the Henry Box School in Oxfordshire.
